Child Care Educative Programs

We recognise the Early Learning Years as a critical period in a child’s development.  Our role is to provide a safe and nurturing environment with an educationally based program that is reflective of sound knowledge of child development and an understanding of the importance of play for children. We work closely with parents engaging their plans for their child’s development in our program and are inspired by the child’s interest as we help guide their learning outcomes.

We know children like being with children

So we work with each family in forming a separation plan and act in priority of development of friendship bonds of children.

We know parents are the most important teacher for their child

So we know the importance of openly communicating and working in partnerships with parents in development of programs for their child. At the end of the year, parents receive a written (including photos) portfolio of their child’s yearly learning to keep as a treasured booklet of their child’s progression for that year.

We know the brain learns at the greatest rate under the age of five years, particularly 0-3.

So we understand the importance of supportive and educationally guided programs for all children including infants. We include experienced early childhood teachers in our 3 years- under 6 years programs in our Dolphin and Preschool groups.

We know our childcare educators have a great impact on the learning outcomes of children.

So they are selected for their expertise and positive attitude to ongoing learning. We are supportive of their well-being in this important role. We have experienced long-serving educators with most working from 10-28 Years.

We know children are capable and have a right to be heard, to be safe, to be explorative, be nurtured and to have fun while learning.

So each child, including infants, have their own learning program and room goals. We check in regularly with their well-being, discover their unique personality traits, seek help for them when needed, join in with their play, guide and extend their learning and work towards establishing a happy, engaging and safe educational community for all.

We know nature and space has a positive impact on the calmness and well-being of children.

So we have vast in and outdoor spaces we use to engage a small group (3-6 children) approach with all our rooms. Children, including little ones, will experience being with our chickens in their garden, or run with balls in our basketball area. Seek snails, Insects, butterflies and visiting creatures like lizards in our outdoor areas mixed with tranquillity in our Dalnan garden as they go over bridge, under tunnel, step from rock to rock.
